What is SmartPortal?
SmartPortal is an online technical support centre that provides specific technical support by identifying and repairing connection problems that may affect your SingNet BroadBand service.  Click here to find out more on other helpful tools!

How much will usage of SmartPortal cost me?

APPLICATION FUNCTIONALITIES

Which email program is supported by SmartPortal?
SmartPortal can configure and repair your email account profile for Outlook Express version 5.5 & above and Microsoft Outlook 2000 & above.

Will SmartPortal stop me from doing anything on my computer?
SmartPortal will only monitor and fix issues specifically related to your Internet Service. The tool will not modify any other software on your computer. In addition, the tool will never perform any action without first prompting you for permission.

What browser does SmartPortal support?
Currently, SmartPortal only works on Internet Explorer version 5.5 and above, compatibility on other browsers will be coming up soon.

Do I need to download & install Active X controls?
Yes, you would need to download & install Active X controls in order to use SmartPortal.

What other configurations do I need in order to use the SmartPortal?
You will be able to use the SmartPortal as long as you are on SingNet Internet connection.

Will SmartPortal send any information to SingNet without my knowledge or consent?
SmartPortal will not perform any action or send any information to SingNet without prompting for your consent first. Every time the tool wishes to perform an action, you will be prompted to accept. You will have the choice of either accept or decline the action.

What is telemetry code and what does it do?
Telemetry code is a serial number that contains information of your system and modem settings generated by SmartFix upon detection of error. This information will be sent to the Technical Support Centre upon your approval.

What are the system requirements to run SmartFix?
1. Minimum CPU – 500mhz
2. Minimum HD space – 200MB
3. Minimum RAM – 128MB
4. Microsoft Internet Explorer: version 5.5 and above
